ACHILLEA:

Also called Yarrow, this is a low maintanance plant that blooms from June - September. Excellent for borders; combines well with daylilies, monarda, and coreopsis. Strong stems bear golden flowerheads that can be used fresh or dried. Divide in spring or early fall. Attracts butterflies.

- "Coronation Gold": Golden yellow flowers w/ silverly gray foliage 30" tall
- "Moonshine": Bright yellow w/ silver foliage 18-24" tall
- "Terracotta": Dark pink flowers that mature to dark russet w/ silver

ARTEMESIA Schmidtiana (Nana):

Also known as "Angel's Hair" or "Silver Mound". This mounding, low growing perennial has silvery-gray, wooly leaves and is well suited to the foreground of a sunny boarder or rock garden. It contrasts nicely with summer annuals such as salvia, geraniums and petunias. Great accent plant! Grown for foliage not flowers. Cut back after bloom to encourage the plant to fill out again.

ASTILBE Sprite:

Astilbe are one of the most striking perennials for a shade garden. Showy plumes are most effective planted in groups. Fertilize regulary and keep moist. Flowers can be used fresh or cut dry. Combines well with hosta, ferns, and campanula. Divide in early spring. Great for cut flowers, attracts butterflies & hummingbirds.

CAMPANULA Blue Uniform:

Campanula, also called Carpathian Bellflowers, have blue "bell" shaped blooms on mounded bright green, dense foliage. They are loved for their wonderful blossoms and as great fillers of the June gap. Plant with coreopsis, monarda, and salvia.
